Palm webOS 1.4 update released

Palm have announced the availability of webOS 1.4 which weighs in at 39mb which should automatically install itself over the air and provide some new features and bug fixes for your Palm device.

The highlights of this update is:

• The ability to shoot and edit video directly on the phone and then the ability to upload to YouTube, FaceBook, email or send via mms.

• New shortcuts and enhanced speed in the calendar, phone, email and messaging apps which will allow you to get things done quicker and easier.
• Enhanced notifications, the green led will now pulse if you have a notification and you can now customise sound notifications for messaging, email and calendar.
