Woman suing Google over walking directions after she is hit by a car

Lauren Rosenberg was following Google map’s directions to where she needed to be by reading them from her Blackberry, she unfortunately got hit by a car whilst taking the directions that Google Maps said to take and she now believes that it’s Google’s fault she was hit by a car so is now filing a lawsuit against them. I guess she didn’t read the disclaimer on Google maps when using walking directions then?

Walking directions are in beta. Use caution – This route may be missing sidewalks or pedestrian paths.

She has filed a lawsuit worth $100,000 against Google…..hmmmm do people not have common sense these days then?

  1. Oh brother…it won’t stand because she wasn’t paying attention.

  3. well, you would hope so, just baffles at times how people try to blame others for their own shortcomings.
